I haven't always had such luck with Align. Just recently I was working
with a model I downloaded, and it had to go through a TIO conversion when
loading, so I knew it wasn't a Lightwave original. I discovered that it
had numerous mis-flipped polygons, so I hit align and exported it back to
Layout. It still rendered wrong. I went back to Modeler, aligned again,
and it said it flipped more polygons. Still, there were modeling errors.
I could continuously hit Align, and it would always say it flipped some
polygons (a different number each time), but it always rendered the object
improperly. This is using Lightwave 3.0, BTW. Any ideas?
